On 5 July 2026, we came together in Berlin for the ZULA Family Literature Festival: a day dedicated to diverse stories, creative exchange, and the launch of our newest children’s books.
The festival brought together children, families, authors, illustrators, and members of the wider ZULA community to celebrate stories in which more children can feel seen, heard, and represented. It also marked an important milestone for ZULA Kids, as we introduced twelve new books created by 24 ZULA authors and illustrators.
We are grateful to everyone who joined us, shared their work, supported the festival, and helped bring the books to life. The day offered a meaningful reminder of what can emerge when storytelling, representation, and community come together.
