As a social worker and founder of cultural platforms, I’ve spent years creating spaces of liberation and advocating for change. Today, my activism is shaped by my experiences as a Tigrayan, amplifying the urgent need for peace and justice. In what feels like a lifetime ago, I had a column in Addis Fortune, one of Ethiopia’s most widely read newspapers, a childhood dream come true. Now, I write to spark dialogue, challenge narratives, and imagine more just futures.
